make me aware, make me see
that everything i am is not all about me
so take my world, turn it around
so that the obvious can finally be found
it's You, in me, that helps me breathe
bittersweet.

Sara Bareilles - Uncharted
jump-start my kaleidoscope <3
i love to watch the colors fade
they may not make sense but they sure as hell made me
i won't go as passenger, no
waiting for the road to be laid
though i may be going down, i'll take in flame over burning out
compare
where you are to where you wanna be
and you'll get nowhere
i'm going down, follow if you want, i won't just hang around, like you'll show me where to go
i'm already out of foolproof ideas, so don't ask me how to get started, it's all uncharted

what i learned from the first twenty-five years of my life...
i always write this blog in a form of a message that i found around my life that i think is simply cute or would mean something more in times of need...
but this one excerpt, it really speaks profoundly to me about what i have learned so far...
i truly believe that everything happen for a reason, and the heart knows what that reason is. Blaise Pascal put it this way: the heart has its reason, which reason does not know.
i am very grateful to go through everything that i have to go through because it made me grow into who i am today.
For all of you, you know who you are...i want you to know that "so much of me is made of what I learned from you, you'll be with me like a handprint on my heart"... this excerpt is dedicated for you...
"i used to think the way to be strong was to be tough, i used to think that to be independent was to not need anyone, but she's taught me that the more vulnerable you are, and the softer you are, and the more you allow people into your life and into your heart, the happier you are, and the more valuable you are to other people... ellen has completely changed the way i look at life, she's made me not worry about what other people think...and i'm still working on that, i have to be honest...but she's taught that who i am... is perfectly good enough... and that i don't have to pretend to be anything other than who i am, and that's been the most incredible gift that she's given me that anyone could give to anybody that they love..."- Portia de Rossi
